I guess I'm too dependent on the comment box. After all, many of my friends don't have them, and they seem to be getting along fine. Somehow the lack of one irks me. I dunno if it stems from the fact that I just want someone to acknowledge the fact that they actually read an entry, but then again it worries me to think that people might be just commenting on 'n'importe quoi' (whatever). What admittedly is the best case is when there's an fiery debate, a stur up of emotions or conflicting thoughts, that bring about the comment box's greatest usage. I might be wrong. Perhaps I just am writing for someone else. I know that I shouldn't be, for no worse crime could be done except to be writing in one's own journal for another's enjoyment. So I guess Happy you were right about making your blog private, and Mackie you were right in abolishing the comment box. Just wait till I catch up with ya'll.
